⭐ Dorian Mode: Comedy, Music, and Central Coast Mischief
The Bouddi Society presents Dorian Mode's "Budgewoi Variations" at 2PM Sunday 3 May at Wagstaffe Hall -- A Comedy Cabaret in a Musical Ode to the Central Coast.
Critics nationwide rave about Dorian Mode’s razor-sharp wit and musical flair. The Australian calls him “clever, brisk and refreshing… with plenty of genuine Australian humour. You’ll laugh out loud!”
His latest comedy cabaret is a bright, cheeky tribute to the Central Coast, packed with catchy originals, such as "She Said Goodbye in Budgewoi" and the irresistible "Kincumber Rumba". With new songs and wonderfully skewed stories, Dorian captures the quirks and charm of our region in a way that’s both affectionate and wickedly funny.
A multi-award-winning musician and author, Dorian has published humorous books with Penguin and Random House, won three ABC Music Awards, performed at the Adelaide and Sydney Fringe, and is a regular voice on ABC 702 Weekends. His trademark laconic wit and sideways humour have made him one of Australia’s most sought-after entertainers. Complementary refreshments will be available during the intermission.
