Fresh Find #1 - Something new to do

The hottest day on the Central Coast

Despite the cool snap of winter making an appearance, things are heating up on the Central Coast with the annual Chilli Festival happening this Sunday. If you’re a chilli enthusiast or lover for all things hot, you’ll want to bookmark this free event in your calendar. From 10am on Sunday 15 June, head to Memorial Park at The Entrance for an event celebrating all things capsaicin. Wander around the market stalls bursting with spicy condiments, pick up small batches of homemade hot sauces and preserves from local makers, or grab some grub from food trucks bringing the heat with delicious chilli-infused food.

If you’re a chilli connoisseur, take part in their three chilli-eating competitions, or watch on if spice isn’t your thing. Don’t stress if you’re not a chilli lover either, there’s an array of food choices suited for every spice level, even mild! Enjoy the live music throughout the day and simply indulge in the great selection of wines and beers that will be on-tap. If you’re keen as a chilli bean, take part in the hottest day of the year on the Central Coast at the Chilli Festival.
