The Entrance is also just around the corner for daytime water sports, and Long Jetty’s vibrant strip offers a refurbished cinema for evening drinks. With retro-cool interiors, hand-picked artworks and decorative details, plus an overall Australian coastal style, this holiday property is a beautiful new retreat for a summertime trip to the Central Coast.

Boho getaway with Gillyweed the Tent
A new small-scale but high-end glamping option has popped up on the Central Coast, and its focus is creating personalised getaway spaces in beautiful locations across the region. Gillyweed Glamping was launched by local Cassandra in late 2020, with the aim of sharing the ambience and magic of a lotus belle tent by the beach with others, while taking care of all the finer details, including supplying furnishings and set up, so guests can simply enjoy being immersed in nature.
All furnishings are curated second hand items, and the package options range from DIY décor to setting up the ultimate gypsy boho getaway package! All location options are available on the Gillyweed website, including popular Shelly Beach Holiday Park and Blue Lagoon at Bateau Bay.

The place sleeps up to 16 guests, with five bedrooms in the main house, plus another two bedrooms in the garden’s self contained studio. These guys have thought of everything when creating this space, as there’s even an outdoor heated shower, surfboard rack and kayak for guests to use and store their own equipment.
