Grass Tree Track

The Grass tree track is a walking trail that connects Wybung Road near Budgewoi, with the stunning Frazer Beach situated in the Munmorah State Conservation Area. Get the whole family together for a day out and walk along the Grass tree track and take in the coastal views, smell of the wildflowers and don't forget to bring your binoculars to see heathland birds along the walk.

At one end is Frazer Beach with a tidal lagoon for paddling in and golden sands to sink your feet into. The sea at Frazer Beach has rips and is only patrolled during Christmas and Easter holidays so be careful if you swim there.

Wybung Road is at the other end. Continue your walk along Geebung track with its great views of Birdie Beach or stroll to Wybung Head lookout and search for whales. They swim north around May and June, and head back down south in August to November.

PLEASE NOTE: Frazer Beach is not patrolled by lifeguards.
